Today’s Life Lesson - Living From Your Heart

Have you ever just felt so moved by your surroundings that you knew it was life changing for you? When I saw Sonia Choquette in Ft. Collins about six weeks ago I knew that my energy was shifting in a new and wonderful way, and it did.

After such a powerful experience I was trying to stay open to whatever the next Sonia workshop would hold for me. I didn’t expect life changing again, and I was trying not to project such enormous expectations on her, or myself.

Two days out of her workshop, I think I can safely say it was again, life changing.

I didn’t have light bulbs go off in my head, and I didn’t have thunderbolts of ‘enlightenment’, but two days later I know that I am more enlightened than I was Sunday morning.

Shift comes in many ways during our lives. Sometimes we need chaos, or drama or catastrophe to force our energy to shift; Other times we meet someone we aspire to be like, and become inspired by that persons vibration or energy.

Sunday I just felt at home; Safe;. Happy to be in the space, moved by the experience, grateful that I’ve grown over the years and can claim my own divinity.

The message Sunday was all about living in your heart instead of in your mind – and making it work for you through joyous living. Sonia may have had a different intention in mind for her workshop, but that was the message I brought home.

Stay in joy, be childlike, stay out of drama, forgive and move on, live in the present, be courageous to be who you are with intense focus.

Nothing new there.

No new information, no new ideas.

Yet extremely important to live, now more than ever. Important to bring the message into our hearts instead of trying to live in our minds.

You think it is easy?

As soon as your heart gives you information, watch how your mind will run with it. I see it with myself and my clients. You intuit an idea, or a direction, and then spend hours, days, weeks, months, even years trying to figure it all out.

Then you know it is time to breathe, dance, and sing our way to our goals.

This is Sonia’s lesson that I brought home. I love it.
