The Law of Attraction is working in my life, but I must admit, that isn’t always the case for my clients, or for me.
I’m asked: Why money isn’t just flowing in and orders practically signing themselves? Why do we have to work so hard and then the large deals never go through?
The Law of Attraction has gotten a lot of attention recently with the release of The Secret, but the work has been around for a very long time. Even before Norman Vincent Peale, and Esther Hicks, you can find references to written material telling you to align your mind with what you want. I’ve got a little booklet called “It Works” originally published in 1929.
So if these great thinkers and successful people agree all manifestation starts with thought, why haven’t we all just thought ourselves our dream lives?
There may be a few steps you are missing. Try these for one week and then let me know if your manifestation is working.
Be grateful for every little thing that happens during your day. If you are having a bad experience, say, you’ve got a flat tire, find the reason to be grateful. For instance, “The flat tire could have caused a bad accident, I’m so grateful that the tire went flat near a mechanic instead of on the highway!”
Slow down and connect with your body and your heart during the day. Many of us actually get messages that would lead us toward our next step but we are too preoccupied to hear them.
Try this: Several times throughout the day take five deep breathes with your hand on your heart or solar plexus (a bit above your belly button). You can do this at any time, any place.
Don’t worry about trying to get information from your inner self, or feel energy, or intuit your next step. All those things will come in time. These are the baby steps, and for this week, just breathe.
Find joy in everything you do. Natalie Goldberg writes about the ‘Zen’ of life, and enjoying the details in everything. Even washing dishes, taking out the trash, do it with a joyous attitude, a smile and a song in your voice or at least in your heart.
I’m looking forward to hearing how these baby steps work for you! Next week, three more baby steps in the Law of attraction.

Sounds good, will try
I sometimes just sit on my steps in the house and love on my animals. They wiggle onto their backs and ask for tummy rubs, or rub their heads against me and want their ears scratched. Their perfect fur lines and beauty astound me and I revel in the mystery of their life. Looking into their eyes; wondering how they perceive me. I continually learn from my animals how to be more in the moment and appreciate the details of moving through life. At work I look at each call I receive as an opportunity to bring some ease to our customers who are in a stressful situation. I desire to slow the life process down and have a deep appriciation for all things great and small. I will breath deep and be thankful at least five times a day!
Great suggestions with the baby steps. I am aware that I put on intention out, but don’t keep my focus of acting as though it will happen…more often I act as though it won’t happen; and that becomes the intetion…oh well.
So yes, I will follow these baby steps and see what happens.
Thanks,
Susan
