Faced with a multitude of tasks and chores every morning I’m easily overwhelmed.
Where should I concentrate my efforts this morning?
- Return Calls?
- Answer e-mails?
- Write Blog Post?
- Prepare for Workshops?
To find my answer I take three deep breaths. Savor the silence within. Ask My Heart what my next step is, right now. This minute.
Breathe.
Write Blog Post.
Repeat process.
Continue with my day.

I turned off the television in favor of the green in my backyard.
I turned off the music in favor of the birds chirping in the trees.
I spied a robin’s nest nestled above the gutter drain next to my deck.
I watched the robin mom feed her chicks.
I set in the sun and called for my kitty.
I watched as my canine friend frolicked through the grass.
I smiled and took my canine for a walk in the field.
Beautiful Poem Gail, Thanks for sharing it!
[…] I think that is exactly what I’ve been trying to say. […]
