Corinne Edwards Personal Growth Interview

Corinne Edwards and Michelle Vandepas Conscious Destiny Interview

I’m thrilled and honored to have Corinne Edwards with me on Conscious Destiny. Corinne is a renowned TV interviewer and pretty great person.

Corinne talks about her experience interviewing Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, and prostitutes! It’s quite a listen.

From the about page on her blog: (heavily edited)

I’m the author of three books, Low Pain Threshold, Love Waits on Welcome . . . and other miracles and Reflections from a Woman Alone.

In my business incarnation, I was one of the first women in the country to be invited into Rotary International (Do you remember when the Supreme Court said they could not keep women out?)

Then after a stint as one of the first women to be a chairperson of a Chamber of Commerce in the United States, I was asked to be president of a chapter of The American Cancer Society. I was in charge of a couple of their smoke-outs - and I smoke. They ignored it. As long as I did the work.

Then for five years I volunteered to run a program to rehabilitate prostitutes, in conjunction with Genesis House and the Cook County Court system in Chicago.

I was the host of a weekly cable TV program starting from 1991 on Chicago Access and then produced and hosted over 400 shows for Wisdom Television, now Lime TV. I was disappointed the new owners did not continue my series but someone made me feel better when they said, “You were on longer than Seinfeld!”

Corinne talks about all this and more on our interview.

That was such fun to be on your podcast. I think you did a really professional job -

    so much so -

that I started to think “Is this an interview or a chat with an old friend?”

Thanks for having me on. I enjoyed every minute.

Ladies - Terrific interview - quick, to-the-point, informative and with loving humor. Having grown up catholic and having had to endure hundreds of “sermons”, I have absolutely no patience and I mean that - for slow interviews or talks. (hey, that’s where that come from!!)
Corinne nailed it and did it with very unusual information. There really is no one like her in personal growth. I think they just don’t make women like her any longer. The Bette Davis tell-it-like-it is type. Everyone is too PC to say what they mean - but not her!! Thanks Michelle.
    I’m passing this on.

    Dr. Wayne Dyer was the first person I ever heard say;
“Most heads are covered with hair. The rest are perfect.”
Wonder if he was the one who thought it up?
