Yes! We have to live our vision in the here and now. And who cares about the dishes in the sink? My apartment is usually a mess, so I don't invite fussy people in. We can always meet them elsewhere.

Great post. Thanks.

The idea of creating a personal mission statement is such an intriguing challenge. I will have to consider that.

My kids have made my habit of getting up early much easier, too! I got to sleep until after 7 AM today (Saturday) and it was quite a treat.

Thanks for a great post.

Adam, It has taken me a lot of years to get out of my head on this one. I 'know' that I need to live in the moment, but the practice of actually living in the moment and being the person you want to be, and living the life you want is harder in practice. Right now I'm there. Its great.

This was my favorite part:
I’m already living my vision. There is no need to go ‘toward it’.

That's a great re-framing of the idea of vision, rather than always having it be out "there" somewhere, always out of reach.
